Developers of a new data center in Prince William County have announced that their plans include a golf simulator and rooftop tequila bar.
According to Bubba Hill of Mulligan Mountain, the data center campus will include an event space for large gatherings and celebrations, lined by 30 simulator bays for individual or paired golfers, and an upstairs bar to overlook the space. The simulator will be sponsored by the DP World Tour Experience, but bar manager Tommy Fleetwood (no relation to the British golfer) hopes to expand the sponsorship to include PGA courses like Pebble Beach.
"We want to be part of the community, and what better way to do that than tequila and tee shots?" said Hill. "It's about developing collective memories alongside our community members by taking them around the world in our virtual simulator."
Despite the ongoing feud between private citizens over available land for new data centers in the area, it seems that everyone can get behind this plan. "We know the bruhs of Northern Virginia will wanna hit the nastiest shots with the swiftest of gaming speeds, so we're stoked to bring this partnership and product to the marketplace," said Fleetwood. "We have all the hottest courses on top of the hottest servers in the world!"
With plans to bring in sponsors like Dude Wipes and work with golfer Harry Higgs, it looks like this data center will be the place to be for tequila, golf, and server storage.
